Middle-earth Talk Radio Episode 26

Due to a recent illness I have not been posting much online for the past several weeks. On June 8 Hawke Robinson and I recorded Episode 26 of Middle-earth Talk Radio, which has actually been available for download for several weeks. I'm only just getting around to announcing it now.

No movie is going to appeal to everyone but I think M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender" is a far better picture than the critics have made it out to be. Film critics seem to abide by an unwritten law that they will slam anything which is entertaining, well-thought out, and visually beautiful.

"Avatar" sweeps 2010 Saturn Awards

James Cameron's "Avatar" took one more lap around the awards track Thursday at the 36th annual Saturn Awards when it picked up 10 trophies, including best science fiction film and best actor and actress honors for Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.
