- As of 2010, the Turner Entertainment Co. unit of Time Warner owns the rights to the pre-1986 MGM film library, with Warner Bros. handling distribution. Turner acquired the MGM library during its brief ownership of the company in 1986.

ReplyDeleteI thank you for pointing out this obvious mistake at The Swashbuckling Press. The true statement is really the other way around, for it is rumored (if it is even a rumor - you never know when hearing information out in this world) that it was indeed Tolkien who converted Lewis to Christianity! I actually meant to voice it this way to begin with, but my thoughts were proceeding my typing! In this event, it was not my 'data' that was confused, but was indeed my typing! Now, whether this latter information is even true or no, I will not here confirm; but as it is expressed on my site: "I had heard . . ." So, this is not a solid truth, but an expressed idea. Please feel free to contact me in the future when you see further errors as this; and seeing that this website project is not my day-job, and I try to add to it when I can, and since I am the only one tackling this thing, there will be mistakes that will get by me in the process! In such cases, my 'typos' have to be excused . . . . by the way, the new information is now updated.
