Fan reviews of the Avengers on the Web

I have written a review of "The Avengers" for the SF-Fandom forums. "My Take - 'The Avengers' rocks but 3-D is out of focus" is where I'm telling people what I think about the movie and Disney's disastrous attempt to adapt it to 3-D.



Over on Communizine the SciFi Guy has written a review, taking a few more pot shots at Disney over the 3-D but going into more detail about the characters and sharing a comic book fan's insights. Read The Avengers - A Fan Review.

Another fan here on Blogger/Blogspot called Tumeke has written Avengers Movie Review -- this review pokes a few holes in the logic of the flying aircraft carrier (apparently he missed the Star Warsian reference?). Anyway, you can probably find all sorts of logical errors in super hero movies.
I haven't seen a review go up on A1 Movie Reviews yet but I suspect it won't be long.

Wordpress blogger Daddy's Time Out posted this adoring review of the Avengers with some screen captures (we published lots of publicity stills in the SF-Fandom Super Hero Movies Forum over the past few months).

My short take on the movie: Go see it, but don't waste your time (or money) on the 3-D experience. It was a terrible after-production conversion.
