Xenite.Org, one of science fiction and fantasy fandom's oldest non-commercial domains, turns 15 on March 14. We're asking people to log in to Twitter and Tweet any message that includes "Happy Fifteenth Xenite-dot-Org" on that day. If you'd like to include hash tags, #scifi and #fantasy are good choices, as is #sfffandom.
Xenite.Org has been home to many great articles about science fiction and fantasy, entertainment in general, and some great Web forums. Although the forums were long ago moved to SF-Fandom's SciFi Forums we remain committed to promoting great friendship and discussion among science fiction and fantasy fans.
Through the years Xenite has experienced many changes and it's no longer as productive as it once was. Nonetheless we still publish several new features each year and we invite people to browse our archives. And, of course, Xenite.Org is home to the Middle-earth Blog, which has published hundreds of articles answering all sorts of fan questions about J.R.R. Tolkien and Middle-earth.
There's a little something for everyone at Xenite.Org and across the network of science fiction fan sites it has spawned. So while we still serve 10s of thousands of visitors each month, we'd really appreciate your helping to spread the word about Xenite on Twitter. The 15th anniversary of such a distinguished domain seems like a great day to Tweetabrate.
