We went from 8 simple HTML forums on Xenite to 24 forums on a UBB board hosted by eUniverse. And after we left eUniverse we decided that the forums should have their own domain. Hence, SF-Fandom was born.
Our moderator team has gone through changes over the years but we have earned a reputation for having zero tolerance for spam and flame wars. I think we made the right decision to suppress the flame wars because they have ruined many Web communities.
We have also introduced many innovations into our forums. We allow members to post videos from several sources, and they can use some image formatting commands to align pictures to the left, right, or center.
By upgrading to the latest versions of VBulletin, we have give our members the ability to login with their Facebook accounts, to set up their own blogs, and to share their posts through social media.
